Care Assistant Needed

Job Description: As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and person-centered care to our clients. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of those under our care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Provide support with mobility and transferring, as needed.
3. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
4. Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to combat loneliness and promote mental stimulation.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
6. Document and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
7. Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.
8. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing the provision of care.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a care-related role is preferred but not required.
2. Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
5. Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of professionalism.
6. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7. Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities as required.
