Job Description: As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and person-centered care to our clients. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of those under our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide support with mobility and transferring, as needed.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to combat loneliness and promote mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing the provision of care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care-related role is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of professionalism.
